  • Time Management
    Effective time management focuses on: 1. Identifying your Priorities, 2. Effective Planning  3. Creating Schedules and Systems 4. Minimising Time Wasters.  Time management principles and practices such as Important versus Urgent, the 80:20 Rule/Pareto Principle, Chunking and Batching, Time Logs, and Time Saving Strategies are applied to participants unique work situations.
  • Stress Management
    This workshop helps people to understand the sources and symptoms (physical, emotional, behavioural) of stress in their own life. Stress is effectively managed either by reducing, relieving or building resistance to it. Practical examples are given for each strategy - such as emotional management, lifestyle changes and relaxation techniques.
  • Understanding People
    The diversity of people is discussed in this workshop. In particular generational, gender and personality differences and how they affect performance, communication and team dynamics. The different ways people are motivated and influenced are also explored and the strategies which can be implemented to increase individual engagement, team cohesion and work productivity.
  • Managing People
    To manage people effectively, empowering delegation is essential. Delegation involves the releasing of responsibility, authority and accountability. In this workshop the topics ‘CARE’ (Connection, Appreciation, Recognition, Encouragement), micromanagement, dealing with difficult people, running effective meetings and coaching staff are addressed.
  • Managing and Developing Performance
    Anyone who oversees a team is actively involved in managing their staff’s performance. The three aspects of performance management are explored - defining,  monitoring and developing staff. Tools and strategies such as job descriptions, performance reviews, PEP (Personal Enhancement Programs) and PIP (Personal Improvement Plans) are discussed as well as strategies to deal with low performers.
  • Team Management and Leadership
    In this workshop the differences between management and leadership are taught. Partcipants learn about the different leadership styles and identify which style is inherently natural to them and how they may grow in all styles. The role and qualities of effective leaders are highlighted: casting vision, creating culture, facilitating innovation, strategic planning and empowering staff.
  • Effective Communication
    Team relationships and productivity directly relate to the quality of communication between staff and stakeholders. In this workshop the process and mediums (eg face-to-face, phone, email, social media, presentations) of communication are discussed. Further topics which are covered are: first impressions, perceptions, active listening, body language, managing emotions, assertiveness and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent Customer Service
    The customer is any stakeholder in your business. Excellent customer service is creating the WOW factor with every connection and at every level. Principles and skills of customer service which are covered in this workshop: company image, first impressions, engaging customers, handling complaints, upselling, telephone techniques and customer loyalty.
  • Maximising Productivity
    This workshop focuses on identifying the ‘sweet spot’ for yourself and your staff. When people find their best fit, engagement and productivity are maximised. Other topics covered in this workshop: writing personal mission statements and SMART goals, career development plans, initiative and promotion,  personal SWOT assessment, and mapping the roles of your team.
  • Preparing and Delivering Presentations
    Most managers, at some time, have to prepare and deliver presentations that  inform and inspire. The topics covered in this workshop are: know your audience, preparing your message (outcomes, outlines, central idea, subject and complements), writing your message (explain it, prove it and apply it) and delivery skills (building rapport and vocal expressions). Practical and empowering strategies for overcoming fear and speaking confidently are also explored.
